Yeah he should make sure that’s not what his son is really asking. Being the last boy in the locker room with bare armpits sucks. It’s a lot of anxiety and insecurity. At the end it doesn’t matter, what’s an extra year? But that extra year at the time sucks a lot

Sucked so bad.

I got a driver's license and barely had arm pit hair

The girl I was in love with pointed out I had no leg hair and dated an upperclassman with a beard

My 8 year old is 5’-3”. We are trying to figure out if he will slow down on his growth. Very tall compared to his classmates.

Played basketball growing up. Everyone passed me up in middle school. Around 9th grade I grew about 2-3 inches. Bad growing pains in my knees and legs, etc. I grew another inch or so in college. Now 6'3".

My son didn't hit his growth spurt until late high school, but it was all at once.

My son has been asking when he’s going to grow taller. He’s 4’11 at 12,

He has probably 6 more yrs of growth left for the average male. When my son was born we moved into a new house and I measured him and his older sister on my closet door frame until they were adults. i graphed the data and both of them actually grew at a steady pace all their growth years

I hear you. I might be exaggerating but he's a load. I think most of that weight is in his feet.

I'm 5-9 (thanks mom) and wife is 5-8 and both our dads were 6-1 and extended family the men were all around 6 ft.

Our two boys didn't have any crazy growth spurts , oldest is 6-1 and youngest is 6-2. Both had their main growth between 10-11th grades.

You can go get his hand scanned at an Ortho and get a pretty accurate estimate of final height.

No way, man. If he’s going to be 5’4, he needs to figure that out at 21. Give him some years of hope.

I grew 6 inches the summer between 8th and 9th grade. My son is around 4'11 in 8th grade right now and hoping he has the same spurt I did.

Bret Bielema says if you want to know how big a kid will be, look at the mom's brother.
