The character meals at the cheapest are about $50 per person.

At the counter service locations it’s easy to spend $20 per person but you can get by for under $12 if you’re careful and drink water.

What if the Men in Black really exist and this is the cover for their new office? No one would think anything strange about aliens walking around.

The cost of Disney is just insane. For that you could travel out of country to some incredible places.

These comments are made by people that have never traveled outside of the country except maybe to Mexico.

I’ll never understand why people get so judgmental in these Disney threads. My guess is it’s people that really never “travel” other than the annual trek to Destin.

Dude, that's Universal. Don't get these theme park nerds upset

That actually does look pretty cool. Not really a Star Wars fan but creating an immersive experience like that for popular movie franchises is actually pretty awesome

You can't get more vacation for your money. If you like tech and want to go see a place that's run at maximum effort then Disney is a cool trip.

Also, I know every drink joint at the place. That usually helps.

I bet a family of 5 eating lunch in one of the parks is $150.

I would say 5 grownups is probably 60ish bucks. If it's 2 grownups and 3 kids probably 40ish.

Lmao 5 people can’t eat at McDonald’s for 40 bucks

How much are counter service meals at Disney World?

While most Counter Service combos are priced right around $14, actual prices vary from a low of around $10 to highs of over $20

Even outside of Disney, that’s hard to do.

I did a quick search of Disney restaurants and I’m not going through all of them but clicked a couple places with basic lunch food like sandwiches/burgers and each entree was 12-15 dollars. You’re looking at 60-75 dollars just for a basic entree not including tax, drinks and any appetizers or what not.

Now you could be cheap and keep costs reasonable here but you ain’t getting out of there with 5 people for under 80 bucks minimum. And most people aren’t cheap on vacation that kind of ruins the point of vacation.

If you are that worried about food costs Disney will allow you to pack your own lunch.

It sounds like way more than just a hotel. It’s like 48 hours in a completely unique experience

Staying at the Halcyon is a completely immersive 2-day experience, where guests will board the ship and remain in the world of Star Wars, only leaving for a trip to Batuu at Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Included in the experience are themed meals, exclusive live entertainment, and a lightsaber workshop using the ‘real’ lightsabers Disney revealed earlier this year.

I am sure there is a mad rush to book it since it is a new experience. No matter the cost, big Star Wars fans are going to book it.

I wonder how the bookings are going to look in 2023, 2024, etc. Once all the big Star Wars fans have done it. I can't see casual Star Wars fans dropping that kind of money.

Is awesome for adults more than Disney is. Even as a kid I didn’t really like Disney

Busch Gardens is still my favorite park. Had the best roller coasters and water rides of all the parks plus the safari wildlufe is cool to see

This is why I laughed when people freaked out and said the prices were way too high and no one would pay that.

I accidentally clicked on this thread and care zero about Disney, but I find it hard to believe 5 people are eating lunch anywhere for $60 unless they’re getting sandwiches with no sides and no drinks. Even outside of Disney, that’s hard to do.

A quick service meal will run you anywhere from 10-12 bucks a person. Now if you're talking an actual sit down meal, then without a doubt. But who is doing sit down meals for lunch everyday in Disney? Next to none.

We’re going first week of December. It’s my daughters (10) 3rd trip and my sons (3) 1st trip. I can’t believe how expensive it’s gotten and people pay this to go multiple times/year. My wife and I went to an all inclusive in Mexico for 8 days this year for less money than we will spend on this Disney trip.

This may be the last time we go for a while. Especially since Disney has gone overboard with micro transactions in the parks.
