I am not a long time poster but I was banned a year and still have no idea why. I’ve never even been given a warning.

OK, I've seen this posted many times now. So I would like for some mods to explain, why do you not send an e-mail with an explanation of why these people got banned so that they don't make the same mistake again? And let them know about how long they will be banned. Why is there no explanation? I don't get it.

I got banned for several weeks for calling a video game, ‘queer’ on the gaming board.
Also got a ban for a bit for posting my iPad with a white substance on the screen after the US soccer team scored against Colombia. That one was deserved. I was shitfaced and posting regularly back then

b/c if they choose to not reverse the ban, then i out myself... nah, i'm good... if/when i get the old one back, i'd like to still have the option to use this one seamlessly in case it ever were to happen again... and being i don't know what the frick i did in the first place, it's not out of the realm of possiblity for it to happen again
