I'm 8-4 East Coast time and that includes lunch. So 7-3 central time zone. Fridays are an hour earlier for end of day.
I did left the house yesterday and traffic was miserable from 2:30 until 4 when we got home.

It seems like more people working 7-4 now. That’s what I prefer to do. Get home with some time to unwind. My arse is already up at 5am regardless

except that everyone is on that same schedule, and as the OP mentioned, traffic is largely cleared out by 5:15.
Where are y’all living that traffic is largely cleared out by 5:15? I need to move there

When I'm in the office I actually wait until traffic dies down, usually not leaving until 6-6:15.

This.
I spent too many years fighting traffic to rush home in a ball of stress. Now I let everyone clear out, spend the extra time catching up in peace and quiet.

I’m usually in the office from 6:15ish in the morning until 7:45 ish grab dinner somewhere then head home!

The 40 hour work week is stupid

Work from home, but I used to do 7-4 in office.
Now it's more like 7-5 at home eating lunch in a meeting at my desk. For all the work from home doesn't get anything done people. Work way more now than I did in office.

I usually work whenever I want. Work a few hours in the morning, take a couple hours off, work another few hours...rinse and repeat. Won't do regular 9 to 5s anymore

That’s the way I was, too. I was glad to get back in the office after Covid was done. I could never get away from the shite when I worked from home.

I work on the office to about 2 then head back
Answer emails, take calls, do another shite til about 10pm every night randomly

Damn I guess a lot has changed since I’ve lived there. I’d be curious to here from others on if there is little traffic in BR at 5:15.

It's not none, but it's much better than 4:30.
Between kids getting out of school at 3 to state workers getting off at 4-4:30, it's bad.
