Looks like Per Welinder signature to me...freestyle skateboarder from mid 80s-90s
I still mess around on skateboard from time to time. I got a reissue of my favorite deck (Matt Hensley king size) from my peak skating days. Haven't gotten wheels yet or put it together though.

I’d describe it on ChatGPT and then follow the sources it used
Good grief.

my Zero board with monster trucks and spitfire wheels got stolen when I was in the 7th grade, was devastated

Disagree, input the year describe the skateboard and refine as much as possible, also inquire what sources it’s using (message boards etc). He also said not a lot of comps out there on eBay. I don’t see what’s so ludicrous about this approach.

I had a mustang 15 back in the 60s, sweet board with what we called teflon wheels. I wore that sucker out. Wish I still had it, it, like all the other things that got thrown away, might be worth something to collectors now.
Thinking about all the baseball cards I ran through my bicycle spokes makes me sick….

The board is a Powell Peralta skull and sword, copyright 1980. Thanks.
Pre or post bonite (1987)? Does the top logo have an X and T on either side of the banner? What model?
I had a good friend who skated a pre-Bonite full dragon Caballero.
My first board was a red and green Vision Gator with Action +2 trucks and Slimeball wheels. My second was a post-Bonite Dragon head Caballero with Independent trucks and either OJ II or Hosoi Rocket wheels.

I have a 1965 wooden skateboard, made in Hawaii.

These don’t work good on gravel.

That is how I got started on this. My son was riding at the skatepark, and the Gen Xers were flipping out over it. They said it is probably worth north of $1k and probably more like $1,500. I find that hard to believe.

I had a G&S Warp II board, Tracker trucks and Bones wheels. Gave it to a surfer friend in Encinitas. Wonder what it'd be worth?

I remember checking the mail everyday for that new CCS magazine back in the 90s

Same here. I'm 52 and never really completely stopped skating since 84-ish. They do not make re-issues of my first real board, which was a Jeff Phillips tie-dye. But I did just recently rebuild my 3rd or 4th board from like 88, Vision Ken Park, gullwings, and OJ's. We have a really nice park about a mile from my house so I spend a few hours a week up there.

I still ride a good bit.
If your deck was in mint condition, you’d have something there.
It’s not worth much in that condition.
Powell has re-released many of the decks from that era.
