What if someone told you in 2006 that in 20 years Donald Trump would be early in his second non-consecutive term as president, bombing Iran a month after abducting Venezuela's leader?

Not sure they know exactly the who, lots can change politically in 20 years, but they have identified the people theyre grooming as a possibility. You dont become president by accident. Its ordained in a sense.

I almost immediately decided I didn't have the energy to argue on here today. But since someone caught it, I do stand by it. Our electorate is getting dumber, more uninformed, and we're more prone to developing these weird para-social relationships with politicians, and it's ruining us slowly but surely.

Barry Obama first ran for POTUS in 2008.. he only became known four years prior when he gave a well-recieved speech at the convention.. 20 yrs before he became President, absolutely NO ONE had ever heard of him.. so no, i don’t believe Presidents are known, or even ‘identified as people they are grooming’ as someone above me posted- 20 years ahead of time .. before anyone says BO was an outlier, even Ronnie Reagan, before he first ran- i think he was president of SAG or working as a spokesman for GE or somehting, neither exactly a hotbed for national politics .
