I've been held up by a soup spoon too. Terrifying.

The mayor of London said there's absolutely no reason for anyone to carry a knife
Kinda sounds like a certain group of folks over here so we know exactly where things are headed

My company has an office in England. Occasionally, we will have them to our HQ for training, etc.
Pre-COVID, we had a kid here training. He stayed state side for a couple of months. We were asking about guns and the knife topic came up. He was telling us about how you could be arrested for walking around with a kitchen knife. We were in a training class at the time. I told him that he was probably the only one in the room of (20) people that wasn’t carrying a knife at the time. His eyes got wide and became very uncomfortable as every guy in the room produced a pocket knife. Thought the poor kid was gonna die.

According to that third pic, my shop would probably qualify as a weapons of mass destruction manufacturing facility.

Well, a lot people here like to brag that their grandfather or father murdered a bunch of Germans to defend the Brits. Funny how cucked the US and UK are now.
You broke it, you bought it.

I have a ka-bar knife, pocket knife, cheap machete (my 8 yr old son’s) and two guns in my truck, just Bc I can’t decide which one I like best for everyday carry. I never thought about how mind blowing that fact would be to a baw from England.

These people have cops knocking on their doors for liking a tweet. There's no way they'd be able to comprehend your truck contents.

I remember when these were being ridiculed and unfortunately they are from blue check London PDs. You can get arrested for a pocket knife there.

A couple of years ago my wife (no pics) and I visited London. She always carries a Swiss Army knife in her checked luggage, but for some reason she put it in her carry-on bag as we were leaving. The UK equivalent of TSA spotted the knife in her bag, and made us wait in a small room until proper authorities were notified. A gruff looking MI-6, or MI-5, or whatever came in after a long wait and questioned her about the knife. After a couple of bobbies (or whatever) examined the knife in detail, they decided to return it to her and allowed us to proceed.

Australia has also banned pocket knives.

That’s where the US is headed if we don’t get a handle on this Nanny state BS!

I have some flathead screwdrivers that are pretty terrifying - don't even ask about the rocks in my landscaping

Well, except for terrorists to stab people with, since terrorism is just part of living in a big multicultural city.
