My Great-Grandmother (Ole' Ma), She dipped the old school snuff and could hit the bottom of a peach can from about 5 feet, easy.

My grandmother dipped snuff. I remember going to their house as a kid. She'd sit in her rocking chair knitting stuff and spit in an old tin coffee can beside her. She was a country gal from Etowah County, Al.

My great grandmother dipped the old powdered Garret snuff. She always had a Del Monte peach can to spit in. That habit embarrassed my grandmother to no end.

Yup worked with one who did. She was actually an attractive lady. She was a country girl who rodeo'd. It was still a site to see for me to walk by her office and see her spitting in a cup or Gatorade bottle.

Yes, I used to work with a female PhD chemical engineer from Cal-Berkeley that dipped. I never figured her out.
