Air Traffic Controllers earn every penny. That's an extremely high pressure job.
You want some $20 an hour moron directing air traffic? No thanks. I prefer to not die when I fly.
What's amazing to me is how State salaries have totally outpaced Fed salaries. So many state and county positions far out earn Fed jobs. County yokels earning more than a GS-13, 14, or 15 is crazy.

In Louisiana what is the Governors office of homeland security? Without knowing what they do, I bet they could cut half the jobs and still be able to function the same.

I think you missed the point of his post. He didn’t seem to be bagging controllers at all…just pointing out that they make good money and the MSM has been gaslighting the people for political gains.

I’m hoping they are coming for all those jobs amongst others. So I’ll interject this in every convo I have so everyone knows the amount of their tax money going down the drain.

They should be gone too, no exception.
It’s ridiculous what yall pay these people to do nothing.
The library just does way less and can be used smartly as a tool to hide things.

Does the library have too much money? Yes. Are there too many library branches in EBR? Yes. Are the libraries used? Yes!
Yes, I’m a former employee but i don’t work there anymore because I do not agree with the liberal bull shite the library spews and promotes.
However, to say they are not used or irrelevant is showing you very ignorant to the situation in regards to library usage.
Also, the EBR employees work - you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to that. They probably do more in a day than the average poster on here. Plus they have to deal with the public.
And the library isn’t hiding anything -having to go through at least three different government entities to spend money prevents that pretty well.
If you want hidden expenditures and waste - DPW is where you should start.

I don’t disagree but I always have to chuckle at the people who talk about paying government employee salaries as if those employees don’t also pay the same taxes.
