And Officer Gillis suffered “severe abrasions to his legs and arms and had to be transported to the hospital” when Scottie Scheffler “rammed him.”
Everyone agrees at the time how lucky Scottie was to be famous and well liked or he would have been rail roaded but trumped injury reports and accident descriptions. Yet now when half the country doesn’t like the victim we aren’t taking any of the typical police CYA tactics with a grain of salt?

Every action I see the left complain about ends up being a direct reflection on the actions of the wokesters obstructing and city’s law enforcement limited action against wokesters breaking multiple local laws along with obstructing law enforcement. Even snatch & grabs of illegals are made more necessary because they need to both get the illegal before the wokesters aid & abet the illegal and also need to remove the illegal before they get surrounded by wokesters blocking them, driving cars towards them regardless of intent (it’s a common practice almost like those pushing it want a death to exploit), and trying to open doors to free the illegal and so on.
I am finding more people getting fatigued with these obstructionists and seeing how they are lying about just innocently and legally protesting or just driving by minding their own business and so on. Seeing who is instigating these situations in blue cities has been eye opening for many.

None of the shitty behavior Im referring to has anything to do with them arresting illegals or wokesters. Just yesterday a teacher was arrested for a traffic accident in a school parking lot involving an ICE vehicle. Christina Rank car window was smashed and she was forcibly removed and was detained for 12 hours over a fender bender that witnesses said ICE caused by hitting her. DHS said she rammed the vehicle even though there is no damage to her front end.

I dont think most folks were unaware of blue cities ability to rabble rouse nor do most condone their behavior. The change of opinion is and where mine and others eyebrows are starting to rise is how the Federal government chooses to respond. This is indicated in all the polls related to ICE activity in the past month. Are they showing an interest in trying to de-escalate or add more fuel to the fire?

Not defending the DHS/ICE agents, but that's three items you prefaced as fact that are either false or at the very least being framed as fact without evidence due to prejudice.
ETA: Hard to take accounts and articles as whole truth when initials 'facts' are quite easily found to be false or at the very least intentionally framed in a way to be misleading.

Not sure in any world where agents are trying to detain you and you just speed off where that’s ok. This woman made every choice wrong and she paid for it with her life.
Is the officer overzealous, maybe, but it doesn’t take much for a car to go from zero to lethal and this woman attempted to speed off with multiple officers in front of and around the car.
It’s bizarre how many excuses people make for people making horrible choices. I have extreme sympathy for law enforcement given they never know when someone might snap on them like this lady did.
