As for whether the show is “wholesome.” I don’t think so, but more so because it doesn’t really provide any kind of moral or ethical content like a “Mr Roger’s.” It’s songs about numbers, letters, words, and emotions.
Exactly. As someone who probably aligns politically with most of the people in this thread, these are mostly overreactions IMHO.
I think the show is great for teaching phonics, numbers, letters, colors, etc. most of my daughter’s first words and phrases were things she repeated from the show.
It was my understanding she had a speech delayed child and that’s why she started doing this. I just mention this because I’d hate for someone to read this thread and avoid the show when it could be a helpful tool for your kid.
My daughter never had any comments or questions about trannies or Palestine because they never talked about that. I look at it the same way as an adult enjoying a movie even if the lead actor is an insane leftist. If it doesn’t come up while you’re watching, I can live with that. Also, if there’s something morally suggestive that you don’t like, you can skip it and watch the hours of other stuff that is purely educational. I have yet to see any of that though.

It’s really funny spotting all the folks in here scared of a lesbian singing a couple songs. Obvious to which parents struggle communicating with their kids.
That's quite the leap.

We don't call them GROOMERS for nothing.

I would prefer not to have to have that conversation with my 4 year old.
I don't actively put her in situations where she is exposed to that nonsense, but obviously it occurs at times. For now, those people are just "weird".

Who's the tranny?
There is no tranny, but he is referring to Jules Hoffman who is one of the annoying non-binary people. Uses They/Them pronouns. I just skip her parts.
edit....I looked further and I was wrong, it is trans. I don't know what it was born as.

How do you propose I start this conversation with a 4 year old?
And better yet, why would I start this conversation with my 4 year old when there are dozens of more wholesome shows for toddlers?

Chat, is gay people on YouTube indoctrination?

But then I’m not one who thinks the mere existence of people different than me is pushing an agenda.
It is when TV & movies consistently try to glamorize being one of the alphabet crew.
We have crossed the bridge from acceptance to worship. LGBTQ+-^%@#$@# people have engrained themselves so strongly on the left that ANY resistance to their agenda is labeled as bigotry. "Maybe we shouldn't give hormones to kids who might just be confused".... "BIGOT".
Its lunacy and if you aren't speaking against it, you're part of the problem. Gay people aren't getting beat up for being gay anymore (at least in the US). You can't play the victim card forever.

It’s kinda wild that this has 17 downvotes
It's because it's not a big part of the show at all. Yes, Ms. Rachel is a lib in real life, but she doesn't do any kind of grooming on her show IMO.
Her show was very helpful in getting my autistic son talking, and she's done some stuff for a friend's disabled kid in real life. So while I don't like her politics, I have some respect for her as a person.
I love that some of yall are so butthurt by this type of rational opinion you just have to downvote it

My go to answer from when we see weird people in public and the kids ask about them. Had to use that a bunch in Disney last month

"Okay dad I want to play Legos"

Agree. Miss Rachel doesn’t push any agenda other than just be kind and here’s some letters and colors and shite.
Bluey is the wholesome show I think.
Blippi is banned after I found out what the dude did years ago. Even tho they replaced him I still think the show is retarded.

"Gay people are people and deserve all the same rights, social and legal, as straight people" is a very far jump from "Give hormones to kids". Get off of the internet. Go talk to a psychiatrist and ask if they will prescribe hormones to kids who just aren't sure of who they are yet.

How about just not having that conversation with a toddler? There is zero need.

What rights, specifically, do they not have?
Choosing which bathroom you want to go into isn't a right.
Playing a sport in a certain league isn't a right.

Kids by definition can't be sure because they are kids, in the same way they can't give consent. You think kids don't know enough to be able to consent to sex but DO know enough to be fine with chopping their dicks off?

I'm not having this conversation with my 4 year old, she doesn't need to be exposed to that level of mental illness. Just like I haven't had a discussion with her regarding depression, bi-polar, or schizophrenia.

sounds like how someone without kids would explain it…
