funny you mention this. I saw three troopers parked on the entrance ramp to 190 from LA 415 in WBR last week checking brake tags around 8am. I thought it was odd as I haven't seen them out there in a long time. Now I know.

Every setup I have seen has 1 cop pointing people over, 1-2 cops in the parking lot writing the tickets, and at least 1 cop sitting in the cruiser waiting on the runner.
They also sit in blind turns, so you do not see them until you have already committed.

He told me that half the money paid for an inspection sticker goes directly to the LSP.

How about they start pulling some of these unregistered (temp tag), uninsured cars off the fricking road?

Have done it before. They don’t wanna leave the 5-6 they have pulled over to chase another. They’ll just point at the next. If he does come, pull over. Pretty simple

Not getting rid of my blacked out windows.
It makes a huge difference in the summer time with the heat

Blind turns
They love to post up on River Road in Jefferson to catch people coming out of Orleans Parish. There’s a big curve there. Also Central Ave. in Jefferson between the two sets of railroad tracks.

I thought this would be a thread about yoga pants.

Inspection stickers are just a money grab
Not in the way you think.
Its a reason (probable cause) to pull the motorist over.
This is Louisiana right? so at any given time of day most motorist in LA are driving intoxicated be it alcohol or drugs, or both.
DUI is where the money is.

I know last year Louisiana was looking into doing away with Inspection Stickers. However, I read that even if they did the parishes of EBR, Ascension, Livingston, Iberville, and WBR would still be required to have emission testing due to the pollution.

I thought EBR got that under control a few years ago.

havent had an inspection sticker on my truck since getting it brand new in 2021. Guess i better photoshop something and tape it on there to make it look like i have one. I am not paying the money for an inspection sticker... biggest money grab! Louisiana has the shittiest roads and we have to inspect our vehicles to make sure they are worthy enough to drive on our pot hole infested streets?

I got hit with the perfect storm about 30 years ago: increased fund raising from LEO, red sportscar, expired inspection sticker, and Bunkie LA.
The cop pulled a u-turn on the highway and followed me 30 yards up my grandparents’ driveway. I had parked and looked in the rearview to see the blue lights.
