Oh well, I got a free 14 day vacation out of it.

You only need to quarantine for 10 days now, 7 if you choose to get tested on day 7.

This is more of a need versus required question. Isn’t this dependent on where you live or work, and if the CDC’s new optional policy has been implemented over their recommended best practice policy? I actually need to see if we updated including school district.

10 has long made sense since they have know for a while that 97% to 98% of infections started within 10 or 11 days of exposure if starting at all. Their new options and info just make it clearer.

If these options had been pushed earlier and more recent antibody studies pushed maybe college football’s contact tracing policy wouldn’t be wiping out players for 2 weeks for a possibility of being infected including those who already had it already but more than 90 days before the exposure being traced.

It's not how bad he felt. He is contagious and spreading it knowingly to others.

So you would be fine with him banging your sister knowing he has herpes as long he's not feeling bad

Was notified Wednesday morning that I had been exposed the previous weekend. Starting feeling sick Thursday, got tested. Got a positive result this morning.

Feels like a moderate flu/bad cold right now. I'm medded up and getting lots of fluid and rest. Wife has it too. We're doing our best to isolate our teenage son in his room. He's a juvenile diabetic, so it's a double concern. The plan is lots of meal delivery and microwave dinners for the next two weeks.

Thats stupid, Herpes can lay dormant for years and cause multiple outbreaks. This virus will be gone in a week.

Its not even close to the same comparison
