Why’d you pay it then?
Because I like steak and its still cheaper than paying $50 for a filet at a restaurant. I'm just simply stating that prices are getting insane.

I just left Costco New Orleans 30 minutes ago and bought two packs of 4 filets and they were $46.18 and $50.17 - $20.99 a pound. I didn’t see anything over $60 on the 4 packs.

Filets aren't worth that kind of money.

Means nothing when you don’t say how many lbs and ounces you got moron.

They are completely unrelated. Ones a necessity with no reasonable alternative, the other has plenty.
You got robbed buying Fillets. Accept it and move on. Don’t like what you paid, don’t buy again.

About a year ago I paid $13.99/lb for choice filet. Last time I looked it was $21.99/lb. too rich for my blood as I am not an OT baller.

For choice? Damn unless they were 16oz a piece (which is important info in a thread like this, seeing as it is one of their variables in pricing), that is just too expensive

We should all be vegetarian to save the world from climate change

They're going to price us out of meat, and other products they don't want us to use or consume.

I'm pretty sure we all already know he's full of shite, even if we're going to pretend to go along in order to carry a particular narrative forward.

Calandros had prime filets for a reasonable $43.99/lb
Dang! I usually go to Rouses who was at $30/pound but the meat section was completely bare so I went to Hi Nabor and got two for $25/pound. Tasted great too!

He just posted a picture that agreed the price per pound.
What narrative do you speak of? Are you denying generally limited supply across all industries and rising prices?
I guess you have to trust scientists to tell you what to think when you deny those things that are clearly observable without any sort of scientific intuition.
