Of course not. It's August! We have at least the rest of this month and all of September before we can even begin to think about the possibility of slightly cooler weather. These "long range" potential cool fronts in August happen every year...and they always fail to materialize for SELA.

In September of 2021 BR didnt have a single high temperature in the 90s. In 2022 there were only 8 days reaching 90

I don't think anyone in Louisiana saw 100 this whole summer. Most of June and July was cloudy and in the 80's.
Anyone saying this year has been brutally hot is a retard. Especially after two years ago when we went three months straight over 100.

Looks like this is actually going to verify. Don’t know how much will actually make to the SELa and the coast, but should be absolutely beautiful across Tim McGraw country and north/central MS by the middle of next week.
