I see that it is posted on the advocate. That's good news.

I guess all of the shenanigans that happened at LSu during the fall of 2025 helped bring about this.

We also need people to stop saying stupid shite like this.

The Union is the new Mall of Louisiana.

Every time I go to the Mall I’m on the lookout for everything that’s supposed to be wrong with it. But every time, all I see is a pretty healthy regional mall that’s doing a pretty good job existing in the Amazon era. The way people will problems into existence around here is wild.

Wrong attitude man. We need more alumni/people like you sending their kids to LSU.

Why should anyone put their college above what’s currently best for their kids? It’s not their job to help correct what was allowed to happen under Tate.

They get around this by using the mental gymnastics that says that if they perform poorly on an exam, it’s the fault of the exam

All the rhetoric on this thread reeks of racist epithets. I've heard it said that racism is expensive, but love doesn't cost a thing. No wonder Louisiana is at the bottom of the barrel across the board in this country... it's one of the most racist places on earth.

Though it's our 1st amendment right, which I'm also exercising by calling out the BS thread and all the "good ole baws" on here who are hateful, fearful and lack the fortitude to learn from other that don't look or act like them. Southern exist, because LSU and other like-minded schools were/are institutionally and fundamentally biased to people of color. So either you are or aren't in agreement with policies that separate and segregate human beings, just know that you can't have it both ways when you are cheering for the LSU football team.

People like you are why we can't have nice things.

You are the racist, you are just too arrogant and ignorant to see it, like most leftists.

It will be a good thing, but is it too late? It can’t affect fall freshman class of 2026, and the shenanigans have been increasing annually for past several years with the push to make white students a plurality instead of a majority in the past 2 freshman classes

Those shenanigans are pushing for more shenanigans from their hometowns to come to LSU in the fall of 2026.

Thank you.

If LSU ends up being a great place for my daughter in a few years, I will gladly change my attitude. Until then, no thanks.

It absolutely did. Even black democrats I know were saying LSU was getting too ghetto.

But it may be too late to reverse the ghetto reputation. Too many people now associate LSU with ghetto so this will be interesting. If LSU work hard enough they can fix it but will they?

Exactly, I'm not going to expose my 17 year old daughter to that kind of environment, just because I want to see conditions improve at my alma mater.

The people who should have never been at LSU have taken over the past couple of years. It may take a year or two to weed them out, but this is a great first step.

Why does increasing standards and accounting for the known differences in the quality of high schools which directly affects the GPAs awarded to applicants amount to segregation in your little mind?

Why do you think a broken culture that has started to show at LSU must be followed by all blacks? Do think it’s genetic?

You sound like you don’t think very highly of blacks abilities to enroll with more equalized standards.

Also, when you look at a lot of states that are at the bottom of rankings they usually have one thing in common, and the cause is not what you are implying

Standardized testing isn’t perfect. But it’s the best way to measure student achievement across multiple schools, regions, and states where academic quality varies.

A 3.7 GPA and a top 10 ranking in one high school is simply not equal to a 3.7 GPA and top 10 ranking at another.

I see no issue with a standardized test being applied to measure achievement and readiness. There is nothing wrong with making sure that our kids are ready.

You think blacks are too stupid to acquire an ID and score well on a standardized test. You treat them like hapless cattle.

So when are we nominating Landry governor for life and start naming multiple buildings at LSU after him?
