I feel zero sympathy for their shite arse parents. Dad was a total POS…Jeffrey Doucet but with money and more aggressive. The mom was a complacent drunk pill head who didn’t care about what he was doing to their kids. 35 years behind bars is more than enough punishment. Stop wasting taxpayer money on these guys.

You're right, they should have been charged and convicted of capital murder, since there was more than one victim. That way they would have been executed by now.
None of this is about feelings for the parents. They were charged with first degree murder, and found guilty of violating the LAW by a jury of their peers. That's it.

Judges bowing to pop culture fads? I mean wtf. Of everything going on in California right now trying to let two murders who shotgunned their parents to death somehow became a major priority because of Netflix? This is absolute insanity.

I’m not saying I think this is what happened, but if my dad had been raping me and my mom was complicit, it doesn’t seem unreasonable at all to premeditate killing them.
