Oh my goodness, will you ever recover?

You never answered this question?
Dude, I voted for Trump in 20, am staunch 2A and anti-woke.
How exactly am I liberal?
Why haven't you been able to answer it?

Cracks me up too, but it also bugs me. His character in the film is an engineer. An automotive or maybe Industrial Engineer, not an EE, but still, if he's trying to impress his wife's boss. he ought to know that outlets are wired for 110, and 220 is only used for stuff like AC and electric water heaters.
BTW, that boss is Martin Mull, and he's a pretty good guitar player and entertainer. I'm an old fart, I saw him at a club in the late 70's early 80's, when it was something like "Martin Mull and his Living Room Furniture". Pretty impressive. His 'delta blues' parody was from his rich, suburban Grandfather, "Blind Lemon Pledge".
Here it is (well, the intro anyway):
And here's the rest:

Clean and Sober is pretty haunting.

Freddie Mercury would have been 78 today too.

The other Keaton line that I recall, and use from time to time (in addition to 220, 221, whatever it takes) is: "I'm an idea man..... Wait, take live tuna fish, and feed 'em mayonnaise !!! Call Starkist!"
From "Night Shift", but that's about all I recall from the movie. Guess I should watch it again?

I liked him better as batman than Bale

He was a great Batman in reality as the overall character, but people hate on him because of what movies were back then and try to compare them to today.
It was a Burton film that followed the hokiness of the comics. He is greaty playing dual personalities, which is why he and Bale were both excellent Batman leads. People that liked Affleck's Batman are the ones that crack me up. The dude has no range and literally just played a depressed middle-aged man trying to cosplay as a superhero.
That said, Keaton is a great actor with range, and that is what makes his career pretty damn impressive.
