If they were there, they contributed.

Directly involved should be prosecuted.

Liquor and hazing should never go together. Make kids drink beer, make them do stupid, silly shite.

Yep. I would think it would be damn near impossible to get to a .5 on beer alone.

You realize that's not even legally drunk, right? Pretty sure DH was .24.

Back in my young and dumb days I had a wreck where my BAC was .29.

Do we have our heads in the sand about covid? That's gonna kill about the same, if not more, than drugs and alcohol this year. I don't think we have our heads in the sand about it. In fact I think our society is overly concerned about it.

It's not like we're going to ban alcohol again or somehow win the war on drugs anymore than rid mankind of pestilence.

I would venture to guess the parents taking care of their now vegetable son probably aren’t concerned over the fraternity’s status on campus.

My take, buddies that encourage you to drink yourself to death are not worth having, much less paying to have.

You need to put a 0 in front of your 2’s.your numbers are not accurate. People always leave the 0 off and it messes up the comparison.

Maybe parents should drink with their son until the boy gets drunk so that he can safely learn when it’s time to stop drinking. This shite just shouldn’t be happening.

If .08 is the legal limit, the .029 is not even over the legal limit. My BAC level when tested by an AL State Trooper was .29

Yes.

I saw a girl code in front of an unnamed frat house.

Pretty sure it was ghb and alcohol, though.

Emts shocked her back.

How are you measuring this? There are thousands of fraternity chapters across the country with hundreds of thousands as members. How many of these stories occur annually?

I’d say the kid who became a vegetable and the other young men who made extremely poor decisions and are now pretty much ruined for life sucks a little more.

Sorry if this isn’t what you want to hear, but if they’re charging everybody with supplying alcohol to a minor, did they charge any minors with minor in possession or minor consumption of alcohol?

He had to have been drinking a lot in a very short amount of time to basically be brain dead as opposed to just being dead.

If he was funneling vodka along with the beer, the fraternity members should be taken out and shot. It's one thing to funnel a few beers and maybe have an a drink after but an almost .5 by 11 pm suggests that they went overboard and he was not just funneling beer and then downs a fifth on his own. He funneled some of that vodka....they just are not saying it.
