There's no way Shreveport isn't on this list. You can get a mansion on 2 acres in the best part of city for like $700k.

It's the northern one... it's used interchangeably between Northern/Western (in contrast with the Eastern)

Yes it’s surprisingly big. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not some sort of cultural Mecca or anything but I like it here a lot. Enough to do to keep me happy and mostly quiet. There’s shite areas of town and the city has its problems but they’re easy to avoid.

Are the folks in the western panhandle of WV as friendly/country as southern WV…really impressed with folks down that way.

Even in those areas there’s nice pockets, especially south of Kellogg, but it’s easier to just say avoid all of it than trying to describe specific areas.
I’ve lived out west (west of 235) most of time here and have been happy.

I'm sure Wichita is an OK place to live, but I fricking hate driving up through Wichita en route to Colorado. I dislike it so much that I go through Amarillo now.
The bridges and interchanges are strange and the road sucks through there for some reason.
