Whenever I read random cases concerning squatting and squatting laws, I feel like I’m reading some dystopian sci-fi story. I can’t understand how the injustices in the squatting world continue to be neglected.

Behind the counter sinus medicine, put them back on the shelf. This hasn’t stopped a single person from doing meth. It’s just made a quick in and out trip into the pharmacy take 20-30 minutes.

Followed by 18 wheelers driving in the left lane. Straight to jail.

I woild change the way syate electoral votes are awarded in mational electioms. No more winner tale all. If a candidaye hets 60% of the vote, then that camdidayw would get 60% of the electoral vote. Mathematical rounding up and down would apply. This represents the will of the people much better than the current system.

Election of the President was never, ever about the will of the people. It was about the will of the collection of states that decided to become a nation.

Also, not a state law. It is in the Constitution.

No, the legal age to drop out in Louisiana is 18, no matter how you spin it.

You can leave a traditional or normal educational setting as early as 16 to pursue other educational plans, such as adult ed to prepare for the HiSET, the National Guard Youth Challenge Program (ending in the HiSET), the LDOE Home Study program, or due to impairment of severe medical or mental issues that prevents a student from attending a traditional/normal school setting. All of these still place students 16-17 in a required educational setting. They are not technically dropping out, which implies they are not meeting educational requirements and/or attending an educational program. At 18, the student can drop out and stop attending any/all schools/edu programs.

That is exactly what I said.

17 years old is an allowable age to drop out of school in Louisiana if the child meets requirements (not 16).

Property taxes. I've paid enough for my house and my property, leave me the frick alone.

I get that idea, and I'm that old that I hate taxes and goverments.

But in fairness, our parents, grandparents and greatgrandparents paid property taxes that build our schools and infrastructure that we grew up in.

We're handing our kids and grandkids an economy that's worse off than we got to live in it. (Thanks to we were busy working while our politicians screwed us, and still do).

Seems the least we can do to keep funding our local infrastructure for the next few generations.

I'm all about sending way less to DC for them to burn.
