So now the Malaysians have called off the search? What total bullshite
Sounds like the Chinese are pissed as well
ETA: I see now it's only temporarily due to weather. Of course CNN puts out headlines that were originally misleading

Someone was saying that this part of the Indian Ocean is practically a dumping zone for ships looking to get rid of their garbage. It's very possible that all of this debris could be shite thrown off the sides of cargo ships.

It's Malaysia, so take it at face value.
Malaysian authorities are not even considering mechanical failure, fire or decompression.
Human intervention and a deliberate act are their only suspects.
Per CNN

Am I the only one thinking this whole thing smells like BS. The info about the plane has been changed then re changed. What happened to the whole dropped to 5kft then up to 45kft? Now non of that happened and they just cruised at 8kft? Its seems to me the Malaysians are just playing puppet to the people who really know what is going on and are doing a shitty job at getting a story straight. Was watching Meagan Kelly late last night and all 3 of they guys she had on were hinting that there was some kind of foul play and she herself said quickly that everyone she has had on that is in the know has said off camera that the US officials know a lot more than what they are letting on. One guy pointed to Israel and how they have quietly stayed on high alert since this has happened, keeping fighters in the air 24/7.

I don't know what to make out of it, except the Malaysian government is totally incompetent. I trust none of these figures regarding elevation. Also, the news industry is keeping this uncertainty and doubt at the forefront because it equals profit.
The private satellite companies are the only people I believe.

Family members marching on Malaysian embassy in Beijing. This is going to get worse, before it gets better.
Can't say I blame them.
Chinese reporter says CNN has been covering this story more than Chinese state-run media, which is insane.

What a waste of press conference. Whole bunch of nothing. Good of AU gov't to welcome the victims families.

That's interesting, wonder if it's true.

I'll never doubt Israel... best intelligence force in the world. But this plane went down. It's not in Pakistan or Iran being loaded with nukes.

This news conference has been a load of shite.

i just got a text from CNN saying that Malaysia Airlines has offered each family involved $5000.
Not sure how I feel about that. Seems like a slap in the face, personally.
At the bottom of the first set of paragraphs. Before the bold "Bad Weather delays search" part

Yeah. They're going to get roasted for that.

This needs to end, for the family members. I hate CNN, but kudos to them for not replaying the grieving family members tonight. It got out of hand today.
Press conferences were worthless. No searches for two more days. Private satellites > world governments. Motive/reason will never be known.
Question to my New Orleans brothers... is it day-bree or de-bris?

Should have just offered each family a free flight ticket and vacation to Malaysia

The trend since 9/11 has been to offer compensation to families of victims in major tragedies, at least in the U.S.
But the part they left out was that they left out was that by accepting the money they probably give up any right to bring a lawsuit against the airline.
If the Malaysians were smart, they'd give Kenneth Feinberg a call. But as evidenced by this shite show, they aren't, so they probably wont.
They probably couldn't even locate his number

Nice gesture if it's traveling money. If you sign away your right to future litigation, not so much. OTOH, $5K to an average Chinese person probably sounds like a lot more than it does to an average American.

Still no confirmed sighting of the wreckage of MH370?
