I don't disagree that marijuana should be legalized at the federal level. But I'm failing to see the reasoning that it would end the violence.

Stfu.

I support legalization and I also fully support sending in the guard to protect innocent people, overwhelmed police, and property from rioters. Wtf is wrong with you, soyboy?

I am advocating that the President of the United States of America steps up and makes an executive order classifying marijuana as a vegetable, letting the ANTIFA folk go home and chill / Netflix.

I agree but let's not kid ourselves, the people who want to smoke marijuana have many avenues to get it done.

I mean not really unless you’re willing to deal with sketchy dealers you don’t personally know

ya pot should be legal and everyone in jail on a low level pot crime should probably be pardoned.

Why should medium or high level marijuana offenders be left in jail exactly?

While I think it should be legal, I’m not a fan of people smoking it in public. I can’t stand the smell. That’s not a smell I will ever get used to being around. It’s terrible.

But if it gets legalized, who will subsidize the sheriffs, DA's, police, cities,

Taxes. The same thing that does now, only there will be a much larger amount available. And don’t get it twisted....people get arrested every day for marijuana in places it’s legal. You still have to be a halfway responsible and decent human being and that’s asking way too much of a large number of people.

I agree marijuana should be legalized but FTR- One in four people in California is in poverty. It has the highest poverty rate in America. It’s state government owes trillions in unfunded liabilities. The state currently has an annual operating shortfall of approximately 60 BILLION and counting. Housing is completely unaffordable for millions of inhabitants. Rents are ridiculous. The state personal income tax is 13,3%. Meanwhile the uber rich retreat to heavily fortified enclaves and professional bubbles. Property crime rates are increasing exponentially. Drug addiction and drug overdoses are increasing exponentially. The oceans in LA and San Francisco have historically high fecal matter . Thousands in LA have contracted freaking typhoid from fleas and rats. Hepatitis A is at an all time high. It is the nation’s capital for homeless. The schools are abysmal and violent. The major utility PG&E is on the verge of collapse. Millions have fled California by necessity including thousands of businesses . Progressive governance is completely indifferent to all of this. I mean I get that it was once Paradise and I get that it has the single poshest entertainment and Tech enclaves in America. But the state in its entirety resembles a third world shithole just as much as it resembles paradise.

Let me tell you what I believe the benefits of the legalization of marijuana via the classification of marijuana as a vegetable:

• Peace
• A healing wave of Love washing across this land
• Communities coming together and working hard to restore this land
• Forgiveness
• Understanding
• Prosperity
• Innovation
• Advancements in Medicine, Tele-health
• A decoupling of the dependancy of American's that are on government support.

All this can be accomplished with a single executive order. DO IT TRUMP! I AM BEGGING YOU!
