Been bothering me for years. Was told about this...
I only take it when its bad and trying to sleep, but it works for me. I usually fall asleep within 10 minutes after I take it. Can get it at Walgreens or CVS

Thank you for all the information you guys gave me but the drugs and soap no longer work. For the past month most nights I sleep in the tub for an hour before bedtime.(Hot water) I get it even when I sit to eat for 15 to Twenty minutes. I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way but a lot of times a 45 to the head seems like the only relief I'm ever going to get. At 25 ( I'm now 56) I had a sleep study and the doctor said it was really bad then. Toss in sleep apnea. And you can just tell night time is not that great at the card house.
In a week I'm see an acute puncture person and see if jamming needles in me may help.

Hylands Restless Legs is a go to for me as well...Amazon.

Maybe stretching and deep massage of the muscles.

I thought I had restless leg syndrome for ten years or so. I had to have spinal surgery last year and it’s all over. It cured my problem with restless legs. You may try a different pillow and see. Mine was evidently nerve pain causing mine

Why don’t you just get some requip?
I take it for anhedonia (or bipolar depression) and when i run out i will get rebound restless legs. It’s miserable. I would definitely medicate it if I had it. Requip also helps with my adhd/motivation, not that oters have that problem

I was prescribed Mirapex a few years ago and now my RLS is worse, so if you go to the doc be careful with how they try to treat it as guidelines have changed recently.
I ended up with RLS augmentation - caused by the Mirapex - and my quality of life over the last year has been hell. I rarely sleep more than a few hours at a time and I get RLS in my arms now. Its like torture at times. There have been times when I've struggled to keep it together mentally. Still struggling..

Good luck!

Crazy shite-
But I had the same issues with legs, primarily my knees, every night
Dr put me on Wellbutrin and I have had no issues since

Nah dude, it was first diagnosed in the 1940s. I just didn't learn about it until pharma took over all commercials on TV.
What I find funny is that only about 5% of the American population has it and it is more common in women. It seems the entire male population of the US, that has it, posts here.

Or you could ask a friend or one of your kids to get you some gummies or a bag of weed. You don't even need to take enough to get high, just a little bit to get a very light buzz/feeling of calmness.

I have it and wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. It’s awful…
Only time I get it is when I don’t fall asleep fast enough. I’ve tried cutting out caffeine after 2-3 in the afternoon and it’s helped a bit.
I’m just going to clean up my diet and try to exercise regularly and hope that helps as well. I might look into that homeopathic RLS med though!
