My wife wants to talk about latest news on this several times a day despite my not being gay, bisexual. metrosexual or a female. So I start asking her about chemical reactors or rotary vacuum filters

How do you know? You don’t. You act like you know this for a fact without any idea what her situation is.

She's probably leveraged to the hilt. Beach houses, lake houses, boat's. The more you make the more you spend.

family brought her home.
Is there proof of this? Family may have taken her elsewhere and created this brilliant smokescreen as if they did.
Early on Tomasso was person of interest. They have desperately tried to erase that now (even though the math sort of adds up). Nobody know of the "family member" that dropped her off??? I smell fish.

This Guthrie case reminds me of a case I saw on "Unsolved Mysteries" back in the late 80's. I couldn't remember the name of it, but Grok pointed me to it (thanks Grok).
This is the only other time I can think of that an elderly person has been kidnapped for ransom.
Annie Hearin was taken from her upscale Jackson, MS home in 1988 (back when Jackson still had upscale areas). Much like this Guthrie case, they found blood droplets by the door. The husband also saw a ransom note lying by the front door. In it, they listed 12 people who he had supposedly "wronged."
The wife was alive for several days and wrote a handwritten letter to her husband (the letter was verified to be from her hand). Her body was never found, but they did catch the guy. Unfortunately, all they could get him on was kidnapping and extortion and he only served 16 years.

Now being reported that a white van was in the neighborhood a few days prior... Guthrie's neighbor called the cops and reported it.

I read last night that some teens were arrested yesterday nearby for a home invasion related to stealing crypto.

I grew up in Brandon, and I remember this. This story dominated the local news for quite a while.

I wonder if Nancy has any grandchildren old enough to be involved in addiction/financial/gambling problems?
As far as I know none of the investigators or media talking heads have mentioned the existence of any other family members outside of Savannah, her brother, sister and son-in-law.

If she doesn't have it, her employer would lend it to her immediately. The ratings boon this has given NBC has CNN about to go kidnap Wolf Blitzer's mom.
Grady would have the old lady back home already.

Someone leaked it to the media. Maybe it was a diversion? Let someone get comfortable kinda thing. Who knows, it's just speculation

I would befriend that dude while he was serving the 16 years and become his best friend.
Then, when he's on his way to be released, I would insist that I come pick him up........then he'd end up in the woods cut in half.

Apparently they have received a new message from the kidnappers... analyzing for authenticity.

Boom!
You don’t set a deadline and a secondary deadline, then talk again between the two deadlines. Negotiation 101 - first to speak loses.
They done fricked up with this new message.
