I’m going to go against the grain though regarding the lab. FBI is stepping on toes. Local cops need to be autonomous to an extent. I back the Sheriff on this.

The sheriff and his group did the worst job of any police force I've seen in high profile crime in a long time.They need to back off and let the FBI finish this.

I’m embarrassed for that retarded little sheriff. Hopefully this isn’t a case of TDS impeding this investigation but it wouldn’t surprise me given the family’s leanings. This could turn out to be incredible

If this happened to one of our mothers would the FBI be offering $100K for her? Would she get much more than the first few days on the news? This is absolutely horrible regardless of who it happens to. The amount of attention it's getting is because her daughter does a morning show primarily targeted at soccer moms. At this point I think we're rapidly starting to tune it out because of media overkill at this point.
They've said she has a Pacemaker and essential medication...it's been nearly 2 weeks. Time to say what nobody wants to say. It should now be more about giving the family closure than the very small chance of getting her back alive. Absolutely heartbreaking for all of those affected but let's have the news get back to things that affect all of us.

No one kidnaps an 84 year old woman for pleasure. This does not appear to be a kidnap for ransom as no credible ransom made.
She either died during the robbery or was kidnapped and died subsequently and the perps don’t want a murder charges they disappeared and abandoned the job.
