On a helicopter? The engineer in me says no way.

New from FBI:
The gloves found approximately 2 miles from the Guthrie residence in a field near the side of the road were packaged up by PCOS and sent overnight on 2/12 and they arrived at their private lab in Florida on 2/13.
The FBI received preliminary results yesterday on 2/14 and are awaiting quality control and official confirmation today before putting unknown male profile into CoDIS, the national database unique to the bureau. This process typically takes 24 hours from when the bureau receives DNA.
Investigators collected approximately 16 gloves in various areas near the house. Most of them were searchers’s gloves that they discarded in various areas when they searched the vicinity. The one with the DNA profile recovered is different and appears to match the gloves of the subject in the surveillance video. The FBI has and will continue to provide assistance on whatever timeline is provided to us.

"Wear these gloves so you don't contaminate anything you find"
also
"Just toss them wherever so we can get excited when we find gloves later"

They should all be fined for littering. frick me I hate every single part of our government from the top all the way to the pieces of shite at the bottom.

How do you know the gloves weren’t thrown away in garbage cans? I’m sure they searched those as well.

I don’t comment much but this just stood out to me as kind of a ridiculous comment. CODIS is not unique to the FBI. All DNA profiles obtained by all levels of law enforcement go into CODIS. Additionally, when there is a DNA hit in CODIS, it goes directly to whichever agency needs it, not through the FBI.
ETA the FBI runs CODIS, however all agencies submit into it and obtain results from it without the FBI involved in the cases. I suppose it was just worded oddly.

they already have 95% of our population believing that "the other party" is the evil enemy.
Well, considering the party that you’re being manipulated by is the Demo Rat party, aligned with the MSM and with the help of the ChiComs, then yeah it makes sense… the trans garbage, the mass “organic protests” in favor of illegals, racism everywhere, Russia collusion story (for 4 years), Trump is the devil, and they were clearly in favor of keeping all the C word hysteria going. Why? They thought it would help at the ballot box!
Demo Rats are not serious people. They’re a bunch of clowns that want power and one party rule. Schumer, AOC, Omar, Swallwell, Schifty, are all clowns. It used to be that both parties wanted what was best for the country, but differed on how to get there. It’s not that way at all anymore.
But all the division and hatred is being stoked by one party. They intentionally divide us to make us weaker. But don’t kid yourself. That’s the playbook of the Demo Rats only.

Why is every single bit of information going directly to the media? The PD hasn't gone to an encrypted channel yet? Is someone close to the investigation feeding info in real time to the media?

This is what I’ve wondered and haven’t been able to find anywhere. They’ve confirmed that the glove has DNA and they seem to be sure that it’s the glove from the video, but never explain how they came to that conclusion.

This is one of my pet peeves and happens SO MUCH at crime scenes and detainee/property searches amongst a certain segment of my colleagues. They just toss their nitrile gloves on the ground or tuck them random places, it drives me nuts. It's especially bad amongst big city local LE

While the media was traveling many were on the radio questioning whether this was just another goose chase sent out my Sheriff "Mini Me" Nanos.

Were some of the searchers volunteers? That might explain their laziness of discarding their gloves

Without a doubt.
Lonely, attention whores seeking their 5 minutes of fame.
But how can you explain this level of stupid.
I hope the gloves are found and DNA leads back to the searcher/litterbug and they're hauled in for questioning and repeated anal probes in the holding cell

Has anyone notice how AZ Governor Katie Hobbs is MIA on this case? It's arguably the biggest criminal event in AZ History and his hiding under her desk.
