Can we, for once, keep politics and references to the missing lady’s daughter’s political views out of this thread?
This is news because her daughter is a national media figure, this much is true, but it could very well still be news since she’s an 84 year old woman abducted from her home and likely killed. That in and of itself is national news worthy in my opinion.
Jesus Christ, people. When Charlie Kirk was killed we all tore the Left a new one because they couldn’t simply have sympathy for his wife and kids and instead injected politics into the discussion as a way to desensitize people to his assassination. Let’s be better than that with this situation and show some empathy.

This is only a story because of politics. Every day elderly people go missing, are murdered, etc. Watched a First 48 last night where an 84 and 87 year old were murdered in cold blood and oddly, no thread on TD.

I told my wife this morning that you haven't heard anything about a ransom. For me, it looks like a home invasion gone wrong. But why take her? It doesn't make sense.
