At least a decade ago, probably longer. It clearly comes from IV rec drug users calling their collection of paraphernalia "gear".

If anyone cares Derek on More Plates More Dates (youtube) does a full breakdown of the emails leaked to him plus he actually found old unread emails sent to him asking for consultation from Liver King. He is going to put out another video breaking down all of Liver King's bloodwork that he has now.

He’s the biggest phony fake on the planet. No one is getting that jacked on raw liver and bone marrow.

He’s roided out.

IGF-1LR
CJC w/Imap
Ibutamoren
Omnitrope (pharma HGH)
Test
Decca
Winstrol

to be exact, the Omnitrope was what was running him $11,000 a month alone, this was in 2021.

Watched his non-apology video and his excuse was that he created the character to combat depression in the world by promoting his tenants all while lying about how he actually gained his physique.

I wonder when the lawsuits against him will start from the people he misled into thinking they could achieve his results with eating testicles and liver.

If you spent any time in a gym, since the 80’s. Charles is an ex NCAA football player. I suspect he’s been in a gym or two.

I’m like the other poster who has never heard the term “gear” to reference steroid use.

I’m no gym rat and have barely heard of this guy but anybody with any sense could look at the guy and see he was using steroids.

I don’t really give a shite, it’s his body but it’s certainly uncool to present yourself to others as a natural bodybuilder and be a liar.

I’ve been in the gym forever and played sports, I’ve never heard it called “gear”, sounds cheesy and millennial.

Juiced, roided out, steroids is the only terms I’ve heard.

It’s strange what ridiculous stuff becomes viral on social media.

I this it really says a lot about the US society as a whole.

If you are older like I am you could easily have missed the term gear if you are not into PEDs and avoid forums or social media dedicated to fitness.

I gotta ask…..you seem to know quite a bit about him. Was that just research or were you dealing watches to him?
