You do understand how their lifestyle and unwillingness to change for the better leads to higher costs for medical attention, insurance coverage, treatments, etc. because every field of medicine is burdened by the consequences of fat people’s over representation in the healthcare system?

Health insurance should be like auto insurance. Discounts/rebates for healthy habits. Physicals every year or bi-annual, maybe discounts for verified physical activity. Hell, I’ll let them see the food I buy if it’ll lower my premiums. Just my opinion.
…and I always stop to watch fatties get in and out of their compact cars.

I once had the opposite problem and was anorexically thin. However, as you can see below, I finally got that under control:

Sorry baw, but when they rolled out the bacon flavored Funyuns, my whole family couldn’t help ourselves. We may not be able to see our feet but we have each other .

Just went on an Alaskan cruise. There were enough fatties in the cafeteria on the starboard side to cause a list.

It’s absolutely disgusting. Unfortunately this is the byproduct of having it so easy in this country.
Also ,our food supply is complete trash, not hard to see how we got here .

I don’t go to places where I see fat people on a daily basis, oddly enough most everyone I work with is in decent shape. It’s startling when I actually get a glimpse of the 1/3rd of the population that’s obese

I do this all the time, just go people watch anywhere you only see a handful of average size people now.
And because of seeing so many fat people everywhere, people's perception of how much fat makes a person look fat has changed. An average person from the 90s would be considered 'too' skinny by today's standards. Meanwhile a overweight person would be called normal weight by many people.
I believe Scruffy once called it the Overton Window of fatness and it definitely contributes to worsening the problem

You must live in Louisiana or Mississippi

Is it disgusted or disgusting?

This. It's a free country, or at least it once was. If they want to live that way so be it. We all have flaws, some are visible but most are not. I'd much rather hang out with a fat nice guy than a fit a-hole.
"Free" country. lol

Agree with you 100%, but let's not forget "the mirror".

"skinny" used to mean visible ribs and abs
now it means you're not obese

I completely agree with OP. Orlando is embarrassing as its probably the fat mecca and all the european tourists come in and think everyone in America must be morbidly obese
