What are some good middle-of-the-road tires?

What is wrong with replacing OEM tires that lasted 70k miles with same brand/model?

A few months ago my van started pulling left enough to notice. I checked my tires and the front driver side tire.. I didn't have a penny to do the penny test, but I guesstimated Lincoln's head would not be visible if I put one in, but I wasn't sure. I took two pictures of it, fed it to ChatGPT. It came me an estimated measurement, told me it wasn't an immediate threat to blow out, but I was getting close to that point. Then gave me the prices of tires at all the places I was near.

If humans evolved from apes.. Them ChatGPT evolved from the Swiss army knife. Best took to have on you.

They didn’t. This is the second set I have owned. They have decent tread left, but due to bad control arms the outsides are worn.

If you’re just hitting the carpool lane, something along the lines of Cooper Endeavor or Cooper ProControl. Maybe General Rt45, if size fits.

Michelin Defenders are excellent and not overly expensive, but are really good for durability, which you may not need.

There are a hundred different options depending on your needs. If you really want to save money, than just shop by price because most will all be about the same. There are no magic unicorn tires when saving money.

Shop costco or sams, online
100% this is where to find the best prices in my experience

and also get the road hazard warranty - well worth it in case of any punctures

Mastertrack Badlands- 50K Mile Tire

In the past year, I put a set on my Jeep and a set on my kids Xterra. Nice looking tire, 50K mile warranty, no noticeable road noise, and they're right at $200/tire mounted/balanced for your size.

Back to top I have a 2021 Tahoe that needs new tires. What are some good middle-of-the-road tires?
99.99+% of your highway driving will not be in the middle-of-the-road, you need tires suited for the highway’s “wheel path”.

Please adjust your preferences accordingly. Thanks

I have gotten to where I just put OEM tires back on all of my vehicles when they need replacements. Over the years, I have come to the realization that I can’t tell any difference between OEM and higher performance tires.

FWIW, a Tahoe is not at all nearing the end of its life with 70,000 miles on it.

Not sure what qualifies as middle of the road but If you don't want aggressive tread, I like Michelin LTX.

If you want them cheap, you can get high tread non patched takeoffs from reputable sellers on ebay.

I don't necessarily want cheap tires. I don't want some $600/tire high-performance bullshite.
