I must have joined some group a while back and all of a sudden I’m seeing tons of travel ball tryouts posts. What’s the deal with some charging a fee for try outs? Wtf is that about?

I had a great time with the parents. But he can suck it. No support for the coaches who are donating their time. Please don't waste your money with this organization.

All of it is a money grab and ridiculous. People like this ruin sports for kids and I’ll never have anything good to say about them.

Travel ball is an embarrassing thing to be involved in at this point. Some ex-jock bros decided they wanted to make money coaching ball and figured out a way to grift off loser dads and moms who live their entire lives around their kids. It’s fricking weird.

We're done with travel ball. Had two boys in it. My youngest son isn't travel ball material and even if he was, we're tired of the grind.
By far the best experience was with the Leopard Dawgs. In our case it was with the AAA 12U team. Mark is a solid guy.
