It seems Iphones had issues and Androids did not. Unless someone can confirm they had issues with Verizon Androids.
I have an Android and I've had no service since like 10:30 AM
Wife has an iPhone and she's had only intermittent outages this afternoon

Yeah that's weird. Mine has been fine all day with wifi off but Iphones have been down for several people I know. The only other Android user had no interruptions off wifi either.

Down since about noon here in Atlanta, so 7 hours and counting now. Sucks, made for a very challenging work day. Hope they fix this shite.

The nation's largest wireless provider said that its engineers "are working to identify and solve the issue quickly."
Phew, I was worried that they were going to work on it slowly.

They can only solve the issue quickly if they first identity the issue quickly. It doesn't sound great considering its been 8 hours and they are still trying to "identify" the issue.

People not running dual sims on multiple networks at this point need to get with it.

Down here in Prairieville. Any info on how to do this dual sim thing?

I love how they say it’s affecting “some” customers. 200,000 isn’t “some”.

Drove up and over Donner Pass this morning and *poof* - gone. Just came back out south of Stockton about 30 mins ago.

I think that’s how many have reported. You’re right, probably much higher.
Posted on 1/14/26 at 6:40 pm to Free888
That number is how many they’re seeing on Down Detector. That isn’t all of them for sure.

I mean they have like 150 million customers. It’s kind of “some”
Also, DNS issue. If not, I bet it’s a DNS issue
