Depression is a possibility. Try some regular exercise like walking. Eat more fresh vegetables and lean protein.

Lots of good advice here you should probably listen to. An unexplained weight loss of that level demands a thorough workup and I would encourage you first and foremost to address that issue with your MD. See another one if your current MD isn’t interested in working it up.

blood sugar a little high (103),

That's not high depending on your age

Throw in some protein shakes every once in a while for lunch and just get some exercise. You will be fine at your weight

And make that exercise outside. Not in a stuff gym. Get some sun on your face and relax. Works for me. Take a afternoon walk/jog 5 days a week after work and soak up some sun and fresh air

As usual with the OT, some good information here. You sound smart enough to sift through things.

While I am not a religious guy, go talk to a priest. You will have a long conversation, or a few follow up conversations, and you are going to feel much better when the priest tells you,”…that’s it? This is completely normal. There is nothing to worry about.”

From personal experience, that reassurance from a stranger that what I considered being a little “f’ed up” is normal was a real relief to me.

Hope this helps.

Someone mentioned the threads you’ve been starting so I went back and looked at what you’ve been posting.

Just want to say I get it. It’s tight nowadays around here as well. It’s cyclical. Hope you’re doing alright.

seems a bit odd.......or even unlucky, or maybe even lucky if 12 just didn't cut it.

Not great tbh. Always been a night owl though…

Does depression just “hit”?

Never an inkling of that thought before, so a little weird…

Sometimes you don't even realize you're heading down that path until you're down it. Depression can absolutely be the boiling frog analogy.

6-1, 179 is a good weight. If you are getting complete blood tests done and everything checks out, then maybe you are just eating less and not noticing.

The key is getting the full blood test done...

103 is not high if you didn’t fast. Drink or eat any sugar a few hours before test and it will be over 100. You’re suppose to fast before test.

What's your Murph time? Fran?Howmuchyabench? You sound light to me, which is the preferred direction to be "too far" towards, but 15lbs of lean mass wouldn't hurt you at all. Working towards obtaining it could give you a sense of purpose that you are missing. Just speculatin
