She put some ghetto woofers or something in it
Where the hell did she put them?
I had Eibach lowering springs, 25mm spacers, and 5% tint on sides and back installed, I put in led interior and backup light bulbs, Billetworks shift knob, hood struts, clear side markers, some aero bit that goes at the bottom of the rear window, a spare tire, jack, tool kit and insert, a protective rubber decal for the top of the rear bumper…and I installed some short extensions before the exhaust tips. I think that’s it.
ETA: This is my son’s car. Mine is bone stock.

Is her insurance high?
My truck, plus three teenagers' cars, plus my homeowners policy all bundled together is like $1500 a month. It's absurd. I'm afraid to break it down to see how it shakes out on an individual basis

Been to PDR twice…the strange door seal damage, who knows? Needs two rims repaired.

The B58 is a damn strong engine. In the spirit of the IV they are modding the shite out of them and getting good power.

The track-ready Mustangs are a great bargain. I paid under $60k when I bought my Mach 1 in ‘21 and I could hang with the guys running Porsche GT4s and GT3s on the track. Traded it in on a ‘23 Vette Z51 that cost $30k more and it took me 3 track days to beat my lap times from the Mustang.

My dad had this one. Definitely not the best looking Supra.

Golf R. And a GTI if you want to go a little cheaper.
Golf R is basically an Audi.
GTI is a great drivers car.

Under 50k - Going to be a lot of repeats for others here. At this price point, you’re going to have to give up preconceptions and the idea of crazy horsepower and go with what cars are actually fun to drive.
Miata - say what you will, they are a blast to drive
BRZ / GR86 - Brand new in the low 30’s, great drivers as well. Great little track cars
Golf R / GTI - Always fun, especially if you need to use them to daily. They cancelled the manual for models after ‘24. That’s pretty lame. The R is creeping up over $50k as well.
GR Corolla - Another great driver for around $40k. 4wd as well. Kind of the spiritual successor to the WRX STi annd Mitsubishi Evo, but probably even better.
Mustang - If you can land one these days under $50k, it’ll be a miracle, big power, big fun.
BMW 2 - Kind of a hidden gem these days. Not as wild as the M cars, but still a lot of fun.
Hyundai Elantra N - Definitely on the cheaper side of things. Fast, fun, reliable. Albert Bierman, who spent years as BMW’s M division head, did the development of this car and the Kona N. Both great drivers in the mid $30’s
Nissan 370 - Lots of power these days with the twin turbo 6. Haven’t had a chance to drive one, but heard they’re fun.
I left the Camaro and Challenger out because they are out of production. If there are any left rolling around, they’re certainly fun.
Left out the Civic Type R and the Acura Integra type S as well. They’ve barely gone over the $50k mark. They are very, very fun cars.
Any one of these will tick the “fun to drive” box. Some are definitely cooler than others, but different horses for different courses.

Tesla model 3 performance may not be a "sports car" but its under $50k (with tax credit) and will smoke any factory sports car under $100k and plenty over $100k in a race. 2.9 0-60 is wild
frick I think I paid way more than that for 2023 MP3. They dumped the price right after I bought it
That tax credit is bullshite and they need to up it. Also I just bought 2000 dollars worth of tires for my 2023 and it’s got 28k miles on it.
It’s a fun little car but I’m going to throw this thing in the trash after a battery replacement.

Haven't read the thread but a C5 Corvette is probably still the answer for most bang for the buck.

GTI is the best daily car out there. Quick enough, features enough, utility enough, comfortable enough.

Buy a used C8 for $60k?
Or a used c7 in the 40s
Used c6 in the low 20s
Used c5 in the 15-18 range.
All of those are capable of being everyday drivers.
For sports cars, the cost of maintenance isn’t terrible, and, from experience, the c5 is pretty easy to work on and has tons of videos to help with almost anything.
They’re not necessarily head-turners at car shows. But the average person thinks all of those models are pretty cool. And no one that doesn’t know cars would guess that a well-maintained c5 was over 20 years old from the outside.
But then of course:

Not if the race is from Miami to Seattle.
