Not really apropos of the exact situation we’re discussing here, but ur comment reminded me of the time i was walking up to our suite before a game at TS a couple years ago, and saw snipers, fully loaded for bear, walking up to get into their spots for the game… prior to that, i didnt realize there were multiple snipers stationed in Tiger Stadium for every game .

Would the folks in the East Upper have been able to see the fireball?

Back in the early 2000(?) a guy with a “suicide vest” tried getting into a Oklahoma football game. For some reason he got turned away from two different gates. He later went and sat on a bench about a block from the stadium and blew himself up. For some reason it got very litttle attention.

Not likely. When I still had my season tickets up there, I could clearly see Dow’s flares prior to the South End Zone expansion. After, I could not.

The view from the upper east and west sides would be spectacular.
If the wind is coming out of the south, it could make every seat a "nosebleed" seat.

My guess is a whole bunch of people would breathe toxic chemicals but I'm no expert.....

If that’s true, that’s pretty comforting to be honest. Hopefully they’re there for every game.

It’s 100% true, and i believe its been discussed here in other threads before .. it was just a little jarring the first time i saw them since i wasn’t expecting it , but it makes sense that they’d be there .

Most foreign terrorists are fans of American sports. If a college football game is attacked, they should look at a left-wing domestic terror group like Antifa, first.

The chain link fence stops the gas. Also the east cheap seats should have a good view of it.

For football games, the armored SWAT truck is typically parked on the East side behind Hatcher Hall.

They’d play Calling Baton Rouge and everyone would cheer.

And Dudley DeBossier would have tables set up at the exits to sign people up for the class action before the game was even over.
