8th grade was prob the funnest school year of my life.
Switched from private to public school where it was only 7th and 8th grade. It was like being on vacation for a year.
Surprisingly as a private school boy going into public school, no bullies. I actually don't recall many people getting bullied at all. It was just a free for all fun arse school.

I didn't get bullied and I didn't bully anyone in 8th grade. I was a tall skinny kid, I think I was just the right size not to attract the guys looking for an easy mark or looking for a guy to make a statement, if that makes sense. I went to school back in the junior high days, before middle school was really a thing in our area, so only 7th and 8th grade. 8th graders already had the pecking order established and 7th graders didn't mess with 8th graders in general.

Black guy named Calvin. He was two years older than the rest of us and just ripped for a teenager. I was probably the skinniest kid in school. Calvin bullied me along with several other kids. One day my best friend was gonna fight one his friends right after school, we literally just outside the school grounds Well Calvin jumped to my friend so then it was gonna be 2 on 1. I was really nervous but I stepped in front of Calvin and said no you’re fighting me .Calvin swung but missed and slipped in the ditch I jumped on top and got some really good punches in. Busted his lip before some teachers pulled me off. He got expelled and I never seen him again in High School. I got lucky but I had hero bad arse status for the rest of the year

I was in the cool crowd but in my school that meant you were smart and cool with everyone. By 8th grade I was mentally bullying anyone who was bullying anyone else. I mean nasty demoralizing shite. I hated bullies even back then.

My dad. Would start with the verbal taunts, then as soon as I started defending myself I’d get the backhand for mouthing off

thinking about it, i'm not sure that anyone was truly bullied. i know bullying in junior high/high school happens, i just never saw much of it.

Took my lunch money every day for awhile
My dad found out about it and told me I was going to decide to take on Alonzo or I was going to have to fight him(dad)
Hit Alonzo in the head the following day with a piece of sucker rod I found behind the bleachers
Turned out to be an excellent financial decision

When I was in high school, an adult dopehead at my job started fricking with me, I was literally prepared to kill him with a knife if he touched me, but I didn’t have to.
He picked on another kid at a bar one night, got cracked over the head with a pool cue, made it home to bed, but woke up dead. The hero with the pool cue was charged with manslaughter but acquitted by a jury.

Actually read the whole thread expecting my youngest brother to have named me. FTR he is still a whiner.
Last fight I got into was a few kids bullying a kid named Rusty. Rusty had some rare brittle bone disease .
First fight was 8th grade when the biggest kid in class chose me to come after while playing basketball at PE. Well, I didn’t back down. I am very thankful that it got broken up as quickly as it did. I was gonna lose that one. He left me alone after that.

Terrance McBaw,, always wore his shades around and his cowboy boots and wouldn’t talk to anyone like a movie star. He almost had this unwritten rule like don’t speak, unless spoken to. It was finally one day on a weekend a guy name Jeffy set him straight. Not sure what he’s doing now,
