New Orleanian/Louisiana OTers everytime someone posts a negative thread.
I’m from Oklahoma and only live in the area (not even NOLA) because my wife’s people are here.
There are are million punches to throw at this City, just not the one OP threw.

Pretty sure NOLA was a stop for Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Elton John, RHCP last/current tours. Which is probably a short list of biggest tours on the planet.

Beyonce, Drake, Taylor Swift, the Weeknd aren't big enough for you?

I'm counting 24 from now until the end of next year. And they'll probably add dates.

My number was off, but they are only playing in 8 cities, 9 if you count power trip.

Garth Brooks is completely washed up; Luke Bryan is straight garbage and tours everywhere; Taylor Swift? You have a point with her but the others not so much

As the state declines and is surpassed by other regional states within driving distance, so does its flagship city. Pretty simple.

This thread is about New Orleans getting big concerts, your opinion on the quality of their music is irrelevant

I know there’s a back and forth here and I don’t even know, but it is almost weird how both BR and NO were huge venues in the 60s-90s in general, maybe earlier and/or later. Seems like every single tour of any significance would pass through one or both.
Was reading some 70s80s Fleetwood Mac history and noticed they also played in BR in 82.

Just had Garth’s only date outside of LV.
Had Zach Bryan a few months ago.
Two Taylor Swift dates next year. Like it or not, doesn’t get bigger.
4 days in a year and a half?
NOLA would double that in one summer in the 90s
