They don't have roast beef po-boys on the menu at any of the on-site restaurants. Likely because nobody would buy one. Anyone who would, wouldn't be able to afford a trip to Orlando.

What is the benefit besides using the monorail?

Other than quality, amenities, service, experience, and demographic I'm not sure.

Most people that are trying to stay at the Polynesian aren't considering the Port Orleans as an option. And most people that are staying at Port Orleans aren't choosing Port Orleans if they had more money.

Polynesian has nice resteraunts, Disney Character breakfast, monorail, etccc.

If you have money to spend at your resort then you stay at a nice resort. If you just have enough money to spend at the parks then its a good chance you're staying at a cheaper resort.

If you are on a strict budget then I would avoid Disney Springs.

POP Century (which are new rooms) and Carribian Beach are nice and cheaper.
Good A/C
Good internet
Clean

Pop is next to sky liners which are better than buses.

I just looked at rooms at the Polynesian resort in June for 5 nights. Port Orleans is 288 a night. Why do some people pay that much for a room if you are at the parks all day? What is the benefit besides using the monorail? Just found the password to Bayourat15 user name ...its been awhile

Because 4 hours with 18 minutes of actual play, is 10x more important than 16 hours at an amusement park that will give you memories of a lifetime. Shut up

Disney never again.

Been there like 5-6 times.

It was cool the first 3 times. In the 70s through 90s.

It was cool before the mid 2000s.

Now it's all about the $$$$$$$$$

Its like in Vegas, you can get a hotel room right across the street from the Bellagio, which is pretty much the middle of the strip a lot cheaper at the Flamingo than pretty much most hotels on the strip (maybe not Excalibur).. But people prefer to go where they want.

I wonder why people pay... money to go to Disney at all, but it interest a lot of people more than I am interested in it.

Key West

One of the very few vacation spots in Florida that makes hotels prices at Disney World look reasonable

The average hotel price for a 3-star hotel in Key West is around $500 a night. It’s absolutely insane how overpriced their hotels are.
