That’s an ignorant and dangerous way of thinking. They aren’t animals. They’re people. People are capable of change. People need worth and purpose. Christ can reform anyone’s heart and that possibility means we should always forgive and try to help rather than reject and dismiss a lost soul.

If they have passed the point of the ability to interact in society and they continue to choose a life of crime, that’s why we have a prison system. But the prison system shouldn’t just be a bottomless hell hole where we lock people away and forget about them.

A lot of these criminals would go into hiding with the national guard stationed around the quarter

You do know crime in the city is way down in the last few years.
Everyone running for mayor has pledged to keep the chief on.

We have a broken home and misguided youth problem in the city. Reinforce family values, dismantle welfare for able bodied people, reform the prison system to focus on rehabilitation and life skill training, and invest in the local economy and maybe in 20/30 years you’d see a marked improvement.

But here are the Saints kneeling because the cops are bad people and need defunded.

And my favorite... a bunch of little kids dancing in a Rap video.. The lyrics are about shooting N****as in the head... Good times...

But both photos show a bad image to the Youth of this Nation... That the Cops are bad people and we need to hate them, and that Violent Gangster culture is a good thing. And this is our future.

Nobody is stopping them. People in 2025 walk around with a little rectangular device glued to their hands that has every possible thing a person could ever want to know.

You could teach yourself the majority of law or med school just by watching YouTube videos.

How many decades will we need to do this? Just curious how long this will take. And why do we have so many "troubled" youth? Get to the root cause of this. It starts IN THE HOME.

Or they could just be raised by their own fricking Father’s instead of their Father’s fleeing and their Mother’s using them as a welfare lottery ticket. That could help, too.

BINGO ! INSTEAD of 'offering' more give-aways,making moronic/outrageous excuses...the 'leaders' and I use that term lightly, must step up to the plate to lead by example and NOT immediately flee their OWN cultural name-sakes, the minute they reach a modicum of success ! This 'abandonment of their 'own' only leave a larger vacum filled with 'community grifters',religious zealots and moronic govt. libs which further erode/degrade EVERYTHING they 'touch'....in short, you people need to FIX yourselves i.e. LESS give-aways/LESS coddling/LESS excuses and MORE working,MORE education,MORE self reliance,MORE common sense !

What the American left foists upon the black population is the ultimate example of veiled racism. No other minority class receives this much attention or coddling. And yes, we had slavery, obviously. We also had the Civil War and the Civil Rights movement to atone for those sins.

This is the byproduct of "the soft bigotry of low expectations." And if I were a black woman, I would be flaming mad at the abject narcissism of white leftists.

Can you imagine if black people were having these conversations about white people? We just need to give them after school programs and some hope! SMH. It's such a racist position.

Based on conversations I've had with police, it's disheartening how many of them have zero ideas what the actual laws are. Hell, YouTube is full of cops being morons.

I'm fine with some pretty hard core sentencing stuff to get these criminals off the street, but he's not wrong that we can't just label people "animals" and completely dehumanize. shite, that's what the left is doing to people like Charlie Kirk.

West Virginia isn’t a dense urban area. If it was, I think you’d see a lot of the same bs.

There is a certain subset that you absolutely can. They have zero regard for human life.

Yes, but those thresholds still apply.
