Most people on this site are white collar professionals, generally mid-career. CCs can probably be paid for everything except mortgage and car bill.
Amex charge cards can be a trap though for the irresponsible.
Personally, we love using AMEX for everything. I don't think I can justify the Platinum $695 fee this coming year but I'll always have a Green or Gold in my pocket moving forward.
Frankly, I don't ball out enough to see enough returns on the platinum besides the consumer conveniences (cell phone and rental protection).

$2,886 right now. Will prolly get to $4,000 by the end of the month. Will pay it off to $0, like every month.
Get mint to track your spending. Been using for a decade and gamechanger for finances. Discipline will be on you, though.

Exactly. Don’t forget their 84 month car note averaging over $650/month.

Average bill is 10-15k and paid off monthly. The one coming out Tuesday is 17k

Pretty sure the OP meant your personal debt. Not your business expenses.

I wrote my own personal finance application when I graduated from LSU in ISDS and Finance. It was basically Excel 97 with VBA but it blew away anything off the shelf at the time.
If I made better life decisions I may not still be using it 22 years later.

On all CCs right now, probably around $2000. Autopaid in full every month.
People who are calling BS on everyone who pays it in full aren't realizing that you use a CC for the rewards instead of the money in your checking. If I spend $800 on a credit card, it's the same mentally as spending $800 out of my checking. It gets budgeted exactly the same, just this way there are cash back rewards or miles.

I have $30,000 in credit card debt.
When they call, I tell them I can't pay it back yet.
Tomorrow, I may buy myself a dining room set.

About $1500-2000 but I’ll pay it off
By the end of next week. I haven’t spent a penny on CC interest payments in 5-6 years

I've got the Plat and just got the Gold. For 99% of folks the Gold is the perfect daily driver with 4x points on dining and grocery stores. I should have gotten it sooner.
Unless you can maximise the travel perks the Plat is more for show than anything else as it's 1x on anything not coded travel

$0 right now. I use it for my monthly subscriptions like streaming services and the gym and pay it off at the end of the month. When I an traveling I use it ,but normally do not carry a balance on it for more than a month or two.
