The ice dancers who got cheated may be our only figure skating medal. The judges love the Japanese girls. I don’t see either. Alyssa Liu or Amber Glenn winning gold.

He never should have considered going for the axel. That's also on coaching as well as on him. Skaters seem to add and remove stuff at all. I know divers and gymnasts, which are similar to skating. They don't ever just change things at the last minute. It messes with your head and also your muscle memory.

Shaidorov had the unlucky timing of being the same exact age as Illia. He was destined to collect nothing but silver and bronze medals at world events.
