Who would downvote this???? And why?

Because some people on here are just miserable idiots who can do just that with anonymity so they can't be pointed out as the above miserable idiots.

Now, let the downvotes begin for this post.................

I guess I missed this post when you made it. I've been wondering how it went. Congratulations, that is awesome.

I knew he was in trouble when you already had him fingered from game cam pics.

Yeah sometimes I wish there was a way to petition for the identity of a downvoter.
“My kid with cancer just shot a 4pt”
“My 14yr dog just died”
“Brought my dad with dementia on his last hunt”
Anyone downvoting should get exposed so that they could call them low life MOFOs out
You want to downvote when I say glock is the best pistol of all time or. 6.5cr is the perfect deer rifle go ahead but man why are some people so angry.

You need a weapon to shoot em. You need a tag to report it to the man.

Yes he was caught in 2011 on our place and was microchipped then. They aged a tooth in 2011 and at that time he was 5 to 8 years old. We killed him less than a mile from where he was caught in 2011.

How many hunts before you got him?

I’m not trying to be rude, it seems like with the season just starting, baiting (I assume), and 10 tags statewide, it would be pretty easy to kill one pretty quick?

Damn, so that bear was 18-20 years old? That’s incredible, I had no idea black bears would live that long.

That will be wonderful. Congrats to your son. It would be cool if he could put it in his college apartment.

As to the down voting, some people equate furry animals to stuffed animals or pets.
Also, if there’s an animal people aren’t used to hunting, they’ll reacted strongly or negatively about it. You see it all the time when an African Safari is mentioned. But if you were able to take the naysayers on safari, nearly every one of them would have the time of their lives.
For those of us in the bear zone, this season is a major victory. You have to live in and/or hunt in the hunt zone to have an idea of how large this population is.
