I purchased a lifetime Alabama Hunting license back in the early 80's.

My dad bought me a lifetime Alabama hunting/fishing license in 84 when we moved to TN. Still hunt my family's land in Bama, but I also buy the all game permit to deer/turkey hunt a lease in North MS.

They do! I thought about buying it this year, but didn't want to spend it. It's in the Regulation book. Page 8.

I like all the guys who act like MS has some incredible conservation program, when in reality they just have more deer habitat and less hunters.

MS had issues, they have managed the herd very well. Amazing what happens when you have a solid conservation program in place.

Why is your fire arm season so damn long?

Legal Antlered Deer: Deer with at least one visible antler, of hardened bony material, broken naturally through the skin. wtf is this?

MS conversation is leaps and bounds better than LA.

Not seeing anything on page 8 of MS hunting pamphlet.

Page 6 has the non-resident prices and I’m not seeing a non resident lifetime lic option.

I would buy a non resident lifetime lic for both my boys tomorrow if I can find it.

We are talking about MS correct?

Yeah I haven't hunted in Mississippi yet even though we have some land there. My brother lives there so he hunts on it when he can't come to our place on the Louisiana line. I actually live in Arkansas about 30 minutes from our place in Louisiana.

What's the Non-Resident Native lifetime? Is it like Louisiana where you have to be born in the state to get it?

That will never happen. LA has the worst "sportsman" in the country. As a whole, we are greedy, ignorant, and stupid. We couldn't see the big picture if it was stapled to the brim of our hats.

That sucks! That's how my brother gets his LA license. He was born in LA. I live 30 minutes from it and get stuck paying the $300 out of state.

Go on Missouri deer hunting forums and say you’re from LA and you want to hunt in Missouri.

Watch how much hate you will get and enjoy

Let’s just say hypothetically that the state got rid of all regulations on private land. How do you really think that would turn out?

I’m sure that there are plenty of hunters who would manage their properties responsibly, but what do you do when your neighbor decides he wants to just live of the land and hunts right next to you year round as a primary food source?

I’m no fan of government regulations, but without it, I don’t see how you can properly conserve the resource. Doesn’t mean I agree with every rule out there.

To add to this, if both parents were born in MS but a child born out of state, the child can get native son as well.
