The Hilux I saw in Panama were not $14k
They looked good even the older ones , I stated at every one as they passed my rented van.

I was planning on buying a Kubota RTV cab machine. That may be on hold now. That would be perfect for running around the woods at home.

Queer would be running tires that big without any clearance.

I stopped by a dealership in Thailand last year to check these bad boys out.

There's the Hilux
Exchange rate last year when I took this was 35:1, so this is about $23k tax included.

And the Hilux Champ, this one is pretty loaded at $16.5k, tax included. I think the base model is indeed around $14k.

As a guy with long travel and factory sized tires just so I can have tons of up and downtravel, uptravel doesn't mean a whole lot offroad if you aren't jumping. As long as your suspension is set up right, for climbing and mudriding I'd rather a shite ton of downtravel instead.

My ranger is setup much the same way, 3inches of uptravel vs 7ish down.

Yeah I’d write a check right now if you could get that right for $14k. I’ll believe it when I see it

you won't. no idea where this "$14K" number came from except thin air, as though the retail price of a hilux isnt readily available in seconds on the internet. i guess maybe the currency exchange was too complicated

The Hilux Champ, when it was first announced, was advertised as a $14k truck.

It seems it’s up to $19k now (615,000 Baht - Thailand currency).
