That group came seeking violence.
That congregation would've had to shoot the trespassers in order to end that confrontation because the local police were never going to help them because they're under orders from politicians who support that intimidation.

The one bright spot of Lemon's attack is that he could only convince a very small gathering to go with him.

They have someone in leadership in the church who is the local field office director for ICE. So the recent doxxing of officials combined with the press conference with Noem clued the protester/doxxers into that and they showed up at the church.
