It’s really easy to criticize taking the 5th until you are put in a position where every single syllable you utter can frick you in the arse with prison time. Mike Flynn had the DoJ up his arse for years for simply misstating a small detail. The agents who interviewed him even noted that they detected no deception and they still charged him with making false statements. You always keep your fricking mouth shut.

Takes the 5th Amendment

Just another lie from this POS

Keep drinking the Kool Aid

So he can't have a different perspective? Losers like you have an uninformed opinion about lots of things, like bankruptcy, as a recent example here. Trump's opinion was based on something that he'd seen bad people do, and now he sees a different side of it. One day, when you can't pay your credit card bills from all your furry costumes you bought on line, and the bank wants to take your trailer and vintage Hustler collection, you'll have a different perspective on bankruptcy.

It's not a fact. Before he was POTUS he believed in the judicial system. His sister is a fricking judge for shits sake. After multiple failed, illegal attempts to arrest him by that actual judicial system, he now understands why you please the 5th.

The problem for Trump is that this deposition was for the civil investigation by the State, not the criminal investigation.

In a criminal case you can plead the fifth, and the jury is instructed not to hold that against you, or presume guilt.

In a civil case, the jury is allowed to presume an answer would be bad for the witness, and in some states the jury instruction even encourages a negative inference.

TLDR version: by pleading the 5th, Trump probably just lost his civil case, and owes a lot of back property taxes.

That was one of the cringiest things that show has done.

Nothing will ever top the Hillary Clinton hallelujah open as one of the most time deaf cringy things ever on TV.

Many find Trump unlikable and won’t vote for him for that reason.

Those are the same people that make decisions based on anything but qualifications.

Hey - quick fact: Bidens entire cabinet has less than 3 years of combined business experience.

That’s what gets you a wrecked economy.

Keep voting for “likable” guys. The rest of us will vote for results. We don’t need a father figure to look up to.

Good thing we have the really insightful, tuned-in intellectual coonass-hats chiming with gotchas on subjects they have little information about.

Post even lesser.

Ah-yeeee!!!!!

You’re either dumb or ignorant. I assume both. Regardless of your political affiliation. Why would anyone answer any type of questions aimed at incriminating you?

And if he didn't invoke the 5th when questioned by someone who campaigned on imprisoning him, you'd say he was a fool, and any attorney advising him would be committing malpractice to not so advise.

Now that he does, he's a hypocritical wise man?

Yes, now name one person who has never contradicted something they've said before. The only reason this has any traction is because people like you are the kind of stupid people who think this means Trump must be guilty because he said only guilty people took the Fifth - years ago.

You’re willfully confusing yourself.

Hey, did you know that in the first three years, trump replaced nearly everyone in his cabinet twice and some positions three times?
