The Latin American gangs have been foot on necking the black gangs for awhile now. Every 80’s gangsta rapper was all about Compton. Today, very few blacks in Compton, almost all Hispanics.

"The Democrats" is too wide a net. There are some powerful Democrats pushing for this because it is the globalism agenda. IE they're getting paid for the destruction of America. There's some mid level tards that are doing it under the guise that this will swing elections and not really affect America otherwise. The voters and low level reps actually think borders are actually racist and we should just let everything into America and that that would somehow not have any consequences.

The black population in Compton went from 60k in 1980 to 25k in 2020.

They want to destroy this country through any means available to them... Their globalist agenda cannot be implemented with the U.S. existing as it does today...
The gangs will eventually create a desire of the general populace to give up their freedoms for a sense of security from the government... This will include willingly giving up the Right to Bear Arms...
This is another mechanism for them to drive the populace for dependence on the government....

As with most things, once the issue becomes visible...... there is much more happening than we see.
The same type of shite happening in CO is also happening in Chicago and there's no telling how much is happening elsewhere. The FBI won't do anything about it because the progressive left(currently in control of DC) doesn't want anything done about it. They have created this and will allow it to create more chaos in the country.
