There are more guns in Australia now than during the 90s Port Arthur massacre. Much more restrictive than here for sure, but certainly not banned.

It was certainly helpful to disarm one of the shooters. It’s a shame he let the shooter get away, but he likely did save some lives. I’ve read the “hero” also got shot but lived.
Guns can still be obtained in Australia with proper licensing. But the type of weapons used are highly restricted.
This could be a textbook case that demonstrates weapons can still be smuggled into a country without any neighboring countries.
The people taking these videos demonstrate their capacity to potentially intervene if they were armed, well before any law enforcement arrives. More lives could have been saved.

Sad, and this happened in a country with one of the most highly restricted gun laws anywhere. Wake up people. This Islamic scum is here in our country thanks to Biden and his criminal administration. Look at the recent National Guard terrorists attack. We will see more of this so keep your head on a swivel. And no one in Biden's administration has been arrested and charged for purposely releasing know terrorists into our country. DOJ/FBI where you at? Republicans will stay home when the midterm elections go down cuz there is no accountability.
