That most people don't mind productive illegal aliens who aren't on the dole?

I support removal of illegals from the country, ergo, i must hate illegals.

That's an opinion, not a factual allegation, and it's based in your comments, especially using CAPS

100% correct. We are a constitutional republic. You would think an attorney would know this.

We're that, too.

Again, it's not binary. There is nothing that excludes a constitutional republic from also being a democracy.

We are also a federal version of that system. Don't forget that.

Our government is all 4 of those things working together.

2 years with a GOP controlled Congress means that every campaign goal could have been achieved with legislation, but instead trying to force a full term worth of goals in 1 month with EO's is coming back to bite them.

This X 1,0000. Even if the legislation didn't succeed, we would have had a clear picture of which non-MAGA RINOs needed to be primaried.

It's not that people doesn't want them deported. It's how some of it is going down. The poll is probably correct.

Interesting. Its funny how the exact same thing can be perceived differently when the media goes from doing upbeat ride-a-longs with ICE during the Obama years to calling ICE "Nazi white supremacists" under Trump (I'm looking at you, CNN). Not to mention, almost all of the issues are being caused by protestors, agitators, and (sadly) rioters that wouldn't be there if a democrat were in office.

When Trump was elected, he said to watch: he’d clean up all of sleepy Joe’s major crises and people would be thrilled with his administration.

Then, in the absence of major crises, people would forget how bad it was and get comfy, and they’d start picking apart he and his administration for the inconsequential stupid shite all over again.

We are there.

In the end, people will vote their pocketbook. If the economy ramps up and prices come down, they'll vote for the 'Pubs.

I'm not MAGA at all, and I'm not cheering on ICE. But I do support what they're doing.

It's the same thing Obama did, but Obama had the support (because that's (D)ifferent) of these sanctuary cities.

Only morons can't see what's really going on.
That's fine to say all that. The reality is the median voter is fed the most anti-ICE perspective possible. And they don't have hours per week to go down rabbit holes getting "real" information.

if anything, he is likely gaining support. Americans are sick of picking up the tab for not only the illegals but the lazy "citizens" who do not contribute to society either

Trump is doing exactly what he said he’d do and everyone voted for it.

I don’t believe it.

All I have is anecdotal evidence, but I've heard numerous instances told to me directly over the last few months of people not happy with the intensity of the arrests, and these were all from people who voted for Trump numerous times. A lot of people wanted secured borders and to get the "murderers, rapists, and drug dealers" out, but when they lawn guy and cleaning lady they have known for 15 years is getting picked up too they aren't as supportive.

Again just anecdotal evidence, but if it is rubbing some people in a bright red area wrong, I can imagine it's not playing great in purple or light red areas.

Well you've got people like Joe Rogan out there who have a massive audience, calling ICE "a modern illegal gestapo", and Shawn Ryan shitting all over the Trump Administration because he can't get over the fact that the powers-that-be were NEVER going to let the Epstein truths become public information.

People are looking to long-form podcasts and interviews for their "truth" in news, and the long-form podcasters are acting like emotional retards. Joe is completely wrong about the legality of what ICE is doing, and Shawn (though he seems to be backing off a bit) has developed a very narrow and truncated perspective.

I see this pattern happening a LOT among many of the people I watch. I'm not mad about how things are going, because after the 2020 election was stolen I pretty much conceded that this nation is finished. We cannot fix it in it's current incarnation. Some of these people who also should have seen it, chose instead to maintain hope. There's nothing wrong with that, but now that they're seeing that there IS no hope, they're lashing out.

You say "most" with no evidence of most. What shitty poll are you referencing?
